These custom-designed ceramic test tiles were developed to explore the behavior of various high-fire and crystalline glazes. Slip-cast for consistency, each tile is shaped to catch and contain excess glaze, protecting the kiln shelf from damage during firing. The collection showcases a wide range of color, texture, and crystal formation, offering a systematic way to study glaze effects while maintaining a clean and efficient process.
